Who doesn’t like FREE things? How about FREE wrapping paper?
And what parent or grandparent doesn’t love a drawing from their favorite little one? Well, today’s post combines the best of both worlds! To add special meaning to that package, use your child’s drawings to make your own Homemade Wrapping Paper!
Sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle this time of year, that the kiddos feel left out. {Even though most of that hustle and bustle has them in mind!} This homemade wrapping paper is the perfect way to get your kids involved in the gifting process.
I gave Reed some markers and paper and let him go to work. {He had to be bribed to do one in just red and green for Mama – chocolate works great! hee hee} We used markers because I couldn’t find his finger paints but you could also use water colors or crayons – any drawing apparatus. =)
But he really got into it!
Once their little masterpieces dry, use them to wrap up Grammy and PaPa’s gifts! I promise it will be a huge hit! I can’t wait to see the looks on their faces when Reed hands them their little packages made by him!
